Paperwork at the paino
Craigslist is a beautiful thing isn't it. Most of the time I am looking at things that are in desperate need of some TLC and perhaps a little insperation. But today as I looked I found a grand idea that I had never thought of before and thought I would share.
I introduce to you the Piano Desk
If you want to check out the details for your self go here.

Cookin up something in the bedroom
So the hubbs and I haven't figured out what we want exactly in our next bedroom but we have a better idea than a few days ago. So as I rest from the packing I thought I'd put some of these ideas together.
Hubbs says he really likes the idea of a headboard with a bench or storage at the end. I also like the idea of a rug under the bed in this picture.
Really like this bed spread from West Elm and to tell you the truth I think I saw it in a few different colors at Wal-Mart last night as I went on a milk run. I wouldn't normally be bragging on something I saw in wal-barf walmart but it is probably better quality than the one at West Elm seeing as my research has found that the pin tucks snap easily. Moving on.........Check out that amazing chandelier as well! (Don't know what they are thinking with the branch however.)
Like the idea of the old actors but I think I'd prefer it more of my and the hubbs or my kids. It being a master bedroom I don't know about having a huge photo collage of my kids or dead actors and actresses. I like to think of my room as a retreat, so we'll see what goes in them. I think this wall of photos could go really well behind the chair in the prior picture as all rooms need somewhere to sit.

Bulky Frames are the thang
A Pocket Full of posies
Just made a few of my own of these. I'll tell you the trick (or atleast how I jimmy rigged it to work) you have to use a staple gun and wood glue to get these suckers together. Oh and the other trick it to go to your habitat for huminity store and get the supplies so you are not only being amazing at helping a good cause but also getting the stuff for cheap!!!

Wedding on the brain
Now I know that I am already so happily married and will only be married just the one time. It was BEAUTIFUL, thank you mom, but sometimes I like to see what other poeple did for their big day. And it gives me a little insperation for other fabulous parties to come. And I have two girls of my own and it's never too early to start planning. No need to mention that Little Miss V is only three and Baby E is only 4 months but a mama can dream can't she.

the wheels are turning......
Here is a beautiful idea from the gal over at Funky Junk who is always inspiring. Really you have to check out this full desk it's awesome. But this post I am posting for my sister seeing as she and the hubbs like car parts (I know these aren't from a car but they look really mechanical like) and they like to decorate with them. SO here's another great idea from someone really going chicy-freaky.
PS If you haven't checked out "Catalog Living" you should. and if you have can't you just imagine what she would have to say about this. Makes me smile just thinking of what she would come up with.....

Now we know who did it!
Here is a little teaser from a site called "The Cat's Meow". This gal definitely puts the chic into shabby (so that's who did it). I really like the mirrors that are put into the door frames in the background.

Bringing the cupcake stand to the next level
LOVE this. I think after I finish the latest project from Anna over at Knock-off wood I might just be building one of these bad boys. Here's how to do it just in case you want to join me.
